Need HELP identifing a frame

Well I got caught in what appeared to be a great bargin and may have bought something other than what I thought I was buying. I was the high bidder on this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...177564868&rd=1

My idea is to have a great start on a 4x4 shortbed, however I just found out that Dana 20 transfer cases came in blazers. Can anyone tell from the pics if this is a truck frame or a blazer frame??? Also seller noted that the frame was shortened 5" for a custom flat bed, so either way I may have to deal with some frame changes.

Any help is really appreciated. Don't think I went wrong considering the money invested, but need to know what I bought.

Thanks.

Scott

It looks like a long bed 4wd chassis...I don't know if I'd pay that much for it considering it's been cut..it may have been done right but no matter what if you want it to look like a regular truck with correct bed it will need frame work.Although, there is a few hundred in parts there.I don't see any bed mounts, they will have to be added on for a regular bed. They didn't use the dana t-case in the trucks, but maybe they used a Blazer/Jimmy for parts? I don't know what it would take to put a 4spd in with that t-case, to answer your question in the 4wd section.

Considering all the new parts, the posi and all that comes with it I think you got a hell of a deal, frame cut or not.

Thanks guys. Talked to the seller a bit last night and he believes the person he is selling this for took a blazer frame and converted it to use a truck body, hense the cab mounts. He was planning on using a custom flat bed on the back. The 5" removed were at the end so I think it shouldn't be too bad to add onto the frame to use a standard short bed, plus bed mounts of course.

Considering the money invested in both axles being rebuilt, new springs, shocks, rebuilt transfer case, and all four wheel disc brake setup, I think it is well worth the $.

Thanks for everyones input.

Scott
