What year model truck parts will work on a 67?

I was wanting to know what year model front ends will bolt on to my 67. I was offered a 86 front suspension, disc to disc, for free. Will it work? Will the drum brake assembly work off a newer truck? If so what year model? Also looking for some inexpensive 5 on 5 wheels.

Thanks,
Nick

86 is the break year for front suspension.I "Think" It is the last year that will swap. This post will TTT for a more precise answer.

The 'break" year should be '87 for trucks & '91 for Suburbans.

as far as cheap wheels, the junk yard if full of them... take your time and be patient, you can even get some nice ones.
