New wheels, new problem
I just bought this set of wheels. They came of a 72 C-10. My truck is a 69 C-10 with 71 axles, disc brakes, etc. I thought they would bolt right on but the center hole is too small to fit over the disc brake center. '71 and '72's are the same disc brakes right? The wheel will almost fit but not quite. Thanks

Re: New wheels, new problem
They are the same 71/72.This is odd.I don`t know all the facts.Did you see them on the`72 or just told? Was it an actual`72 or a built truck that could have had other spindles?

Re: New wheels, new problem
Are those GM wheels? I have a buddy who has some of the GM wheels that are similar to those on his '82's. If they are GM and your componentry is GM, then fitment should be a non-issue.

Re: New wheels, new problem
I had the same problem with my rims...I bought my rotors from Napa, and they had two different kinds...one was a little tapered and my rims would fit, the other was more of a block style and would not...what i ended up doing was taking my rims to the store and making sure they fit before i took them home.

See how muchmachining the center costs. They`ll want to dismount, probably. That just adds more money.Good luck.

Re: New wheels, new problem
That is strange. Im pretty sure those wheels came on a GM van & Im positive that it had disc brakes...
