question on value of seat setup

I have found a set of 67 bucket seats with folding center seat, they are in poor (foam and covering) but excellent rust free frame, latches and all function perfect, not repainted excellent factory paint, springs all look perfect .I was told the truck was parked outside in the sun and not driven since the late 70's hench the sun damages coveringand foam, also includes complete seatbelt setup for $500.00 is that fair. Just want to be sure before I jump on them. They are red seems like a rare interior color but should look real good in my white 68 c20.

Re: question on value of seat setup

I bought a red set-up that only needs work on the driver`s lower cover and foam for $450/no seatbelts.I`d kill for nice red belts if you don`t need them.
From what I`ve seem that the ballpark mount,as crazy as that seems.A plus would be if they are local pick-up.Many may have found better deals, but should add shipping or travel expenses before commenting.
I didn`t know the sun would kill the foam.I guess it could, though.Never thought about it.A truck can be a greenhouse.

500 sounds high - 200 -250 would be better

I have a friend who has a set of blue ones, for sale. Don't know his price, but I'll ask. His son took them out of his truck to put in another seat, since he has had several back surgeries, including pins. If anyone is interested in blue ones, they're in Benton, AR. Yeah, they will need to be redone, but you can sit on them, right now. Not like hearing it run, but you know the drill.
