WIW NOS black dash pad in the box
I was just wondering what one of these might be worth?
|
Re: WIW NOS black dash pad in the box
I had an opportunity to buy one 8 or 10 months ago for $100-passed on it though

Re: WIW NOS black dash pad in the box
$100 or so sounds right, hard to say since repo covers are not all that bad and tend to fit correctly with a little persuasion

Re: WIW NOS black dash pad in the box
i'm gonna say between $150-$200. the repro's i get from my parts guy are great and cheaper than that. some things i won't use anything but nos, but dashes i'd rather have a repop. the nos will curl up in time, they were and always will be junk. but for an nos nut, they should bring the mentioned price.

I think the repops are at 50.00, looks good and I was told fits pretty good. I will be buying one soon.

Re: WIW NOS black dash pad in the box
repops are solid urethane and less likely to warp over time.
however, since the repops are not being made in my shade of green (thanks a lot) I have to go with an original vinyl covered dash pad to get color match paint to stick. I've heard that paint doesn't stick to the new urethanes?? |

$150 to $200 for n.o.s. Always worth more than reproduction.

Re: WIW NOS black dash pad in the box
Properly prepped and cleaned prior to dying or painting the pait should stick, I like to use liquid sand as a primer.
