73 454 Quadrajet Choke parts wanted

Hi all!

Here is what I am looking for:

I am actually looking for the correct QuadraJet Rochestor 4 barrel carbueretor for my original 1973 Cheyenne Super 454 truck.

I will guess that the GM Carb ID number is alike this:
1703XXXX correct carb # is unkown to me at this time!

What I am also missing is the choke rod, choke heat coil, and choke heat coil cover with screw to the manifold.
The guy who worked on my truck decided I didn't need these parts any more and then realized : WOW ! You need these! :bs:

Anyways, if anyone out there has what I need, please let me know!

Do remember that this is the LOW plane intake manifold for a BBC 454 in 1973!

There are a thousand different choke set ups out there. You might attach some pix and the numbers will also be necessary to find you what you need.

BTW, you may or may not care, but your 170YYEDT (EmissionsDivisionTransmission) carb is not original to your 73. I know that the 170s are from 76 and on. Here's my source for decoding:

recarbco.com

Not that it necessarily matters for performance, but it sounds like you understandably want to keep the vehicle in original condition.

You might contact these guys for parts, as well:

Carbs unlimited

I've never dealt with them for parts, but have had good experience with rebuild kits. You WILL need the carb number to order from them.

Good luck-

Thanx!

I did indeed guess at the carb # as I do not know the correct one...YET! :ito:

Anyways, I will take a peek at the links you suggested, and yes I do wish to keep this thing stock, regarding the #s and parts..per se.
