WIW: My 1972 Blazer

5 Attachment(s)
I'm kinda toying with selling the blazer, to pay off some bills and finish some unexpected problems with a coupleof other trucks that came up. Just wanted your guys opinion on what it's worth. Its a 1972 blazer with a rebuilt 350 and rebuilt turbo350 and a new 6" superlift lift newer 35" tires with 15x10 polished wheels. new 2.5 to 3.0" flowmaster exhaust. It has new chrome sport bumpers front and rear. New chrome grille with billet insert. All new clear lights and the way around. All new carpet front and rear. cd player. Redone dash cluster.Newer driver quality paint. Powdercoated roll bar. Nice dbl wall top. After market seats on stock brackets. The only rust is in the btms of the front inner and outer fenders and core support. new windshield, new window felts and rubbers. New heater controls, hose for vents, heater core. I know I'm missing other things. These are a few pics a couple months after I got her home and gave her some upgrades. Thanx Dana

First - don't sell it. You'll regret it every time you see the new owner post pictures of it on the board :)

Second - I'd guess in the $9,000-10,000 range (assuming the interior is all back in place).

Nice looking blazer in the pics.

Wrong time of the year to sell but if you have to...$10K and up would be a good starting point.

What's the current condition?
Totally turn key and finished? < 10K range.
Needs a little work?
Any rust issues?

Thanx guys. She is turn key now. All interior is all done dash pad, doorpanels, carpet, window and door regulators. She's got over a foot of snow sitting on her now. Bouncy so can I have my blazer back?

I agree 10K is good starting point well worth the money. Where did you get the 15x10 ralley's? did you have them widened?

That's awfully nice, if you have to sell it, it will of course bring more money if you list it later this spring. I hope you can avoid selling it, you won't get one later and get it in that good of shape for anywhere near what you will sell this one for.

Dana, the other thing is to consider if you ever want another Blazer. I know you got a great deal on this one and it would be hard to replace it for what you have in it. Another Blazer in like shape is going to cost you the 10k everyone thinks this one is worth. If you never want another Blazer then sell it, but this one was a once in a lifetime deal and most likely hard to find again, if ever.

Did you decide what you are going to do with it? Did you get any new pics?
