Cab swap question

Hey all
I need to replace the cab on my 72 K20, and I found a pretty nice 1967 Chevy C20 cab. Is there any big differences between these two cabs? I will reuse my hood, grill and fenders to keep it looking like a 72. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Colby.

Emergency brake if it matters.

Re: Cab swap question

The 67 probably has the small back window and the 68-72s didn't have the small window. It might have the large window but few 67s had them.Emergency brake is different, and the throttle is different being the older ones had the rod and the newer trucks had the cable.I'd guess the 67 had a large hump floor being a 67 and a 3/4 ton I'd guess it has a 4spd so if it does the tranny hump will just need unbolted and then when the cab is swapped over just bolt in the tranny cover from the 72 4wd cab

Well I went ahead and bought the '67 cab and bed. It is in too good of shape to pass up, but I would prefer the big back window of the later models. Oh well.

I did the same on my '69. Ditched the e-brake completely, but am stuck with the small back window. Basically a rust-free cab now. I did go ahead and convert to a cable operated accelerator.
Anyone wanna trade cabs? I really want the big window again?!?!?!?

But it did bolt right up with no issue.

Another little differnece is that the '72 cab may or may not have the mounting for your rear-view mirror. They moved the mirror to the windshield in '72
