Trans cooler lines

I'm hoping somone can help. I'm trying to plumb my trans cooler and I need to know which port is the pressure and which is the return on a 700R? Also which line goes on which radiator port?

The truck is not running yet and I would like to plumb the trans cooler system today. I have other parts coming that will enable me to finish the motor.

Is that the same on a Turbo 400 as well?

Re: Trans cooler lines

Yes, all but the 2004rs use this routing. They have the outlet and return reversed on the trans.

VetteVet,

Nice illustration of the lines and how they flow!

An old tech once told me to think of it like this. Hot to the bottom as heat does rise and the cool side should be on top as in the previous illustration. Just thought that I would add this for the non visual readers. I am visual so it worked for me again. Nice flow chart. Dave
