Another Protrash Contraption
 

I always thought Chevy screwed up when using the leftover 58-59 tailgateson the 60-66 trucks..........the body line didnt meet around the back. I realized it when looking at 2-tone paint on these trucks. So, today I "fixed" mine.........and due to the great interest in my protrash garage grill I added a twist to match the front of my truck. Heres what I did...dont worry, its not at the Frizzle Fry level of commitment we all know and love.....



and by the way, everybodys tailgate just increased in value a little bit as I used up 2 rust-free Arizona tailgates to do this. Better run out and give your 'gate another coat of primer to keep it around a little longer.......

you should set the bit you cut out into the other end of the bed, or you could send it to me as I think it would look good set into the back of my cab under the window.

Looks good...I had to look at my gate just to see the difference....I couldn't picture it in my head.

where do u get ur mesh from? I want to use mesh in the inner part of the stock grill and like the stuff you have...thanks...
