Lift for 2007 Chevy

Is anyone making a decently priced 4-6" suspension lift for an 07 Chevy? New body style. I saw a 4" for $2200 but that seems a bit steep for a 4" lift to me. I'd like to get this baby looking a little more aggressive without breaking the bank.

Welcome for the world of IFS. There not cheap to lift by any means. What I can say is dont go with the lowest price. There are plenty of really nice ifs kits for just a couple of hundred more. The "knuckle kits" are your best bet and they fit with the very least amount of cutting.

But 2200 for a 4" is pretty steep regardless.... I have a buddy that sells Fabtechs and he says he can probably cut me a deal. I just haven't seen any others to compare a price with.

I'd go with a 6" fabtech. Once again IFS is not cheap.

Yeah not really. I agree thats pretty steep but the IFS is so much more money. I would check around though you should be able to come up cheaper then that.

Remember it's one thing to go cheap on a SFA lift, but it's a whole other ball game to go cheap on an IFS lift. Going cheap means you could be buying substandard brackets that space down the axle. Crappy welds in that area wouldn't be the best to have since it's holding the lower half of the suspension on.

You don't want to skimp here as there is more to go wrong than just stuffing a set of arched springs under an older truck. The good news is that 2007 is the first for the coil over shock suspension vs the older torsion bar setup. One item that can be used at least for a minor lift is the budget boost coil spring spacers for the coil-over shock. Pay the money for a quality lift up front and you wont be paying to fix it again or lift it correctly again later.

all of the major brands make lifts 4 the 07's but again they wont be cheap cuz IFS has sooo many extra parts up front.maybe one day u could try and invest in a solid axle conversion not now tho suuuper expensive... suuuper simple tho.
