buckets from chevy trucks from 88-91 fit great because they fit under the rear window and don't have headrests. 92up fit good also if you don't mind the headrest protruding above the rear glass. they are fairly plentiful now too, at least in the south.

Only trouble with that swap is the deat is just a little too high. Otherwise, it is perfect.

i used 6 way power seats from 85 pontiac grand am. power seats saves a lot of time trying to get height set right.

I have buckets from a dodge shelby ,one of those little hatchback ones, not sure what year.

tom hand 05-04-2002 03:20 PM

Buckets from trucks and blazers 73-[till they changed to highbacks]work well and can be made to look stock. 72 down brackets and covers can be made to fit,and they don't demand such a high price at the boneyard, I have gotten sets for free. The set in this truck have 72 houndtooth covers and bench seat brakets to make them sit at the correct height.

These are late 80's to early 90's Bonneville seats. No modifications to install, just drill holes.

I've got a set of swivel buckets, probably out of an early Chevelle. Fit great in my beater blaz and comfy. I had to make up some brackets though
