newbie from missouri
I would just like to introduce myself and my project. My name is Travis and I am from southestern Missouri. My project is an original '70 2wd Blazer. I was actually looking at a '69 4wd to convert to 2wd, and the guy tells me that he has a 2wd body that he will let go with it since the '69 was rusty. Ended up just buying the 2wd. It has no motor or trans, but I would like to do a ramjet similar to the '77 that I've seen on here.

:welcome2: to the board from Mid-MO!!!
You'll find this place to become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more. I travel to the SE part of the state quite often due to my job, and end up staying in Dexter from time to time as well. Just to bring a few things to your attention.... Re: newbie from missouri
I have lots of questions regarding the build of my blazer. The main question I have for everyone is should a fella restore a '70 2wd blazer considering its rarity or just hod rod it like any other vehicle? The blazer I have had been sitting outside for a while with the passenger window knocked out and the glove box down, so the label on the glove box door is not readable. The only thing I have to go on is the VIN tag and from what I have seen in books and on the internet there's not a whole lot of info on just the VIN tag about what options the truck would have had. IS THIS THE CASE? I also see the trend toward the '67 front cap, and I dig it. I even like a '71-72 front end better than a '70, but I am fickled about whether or not I should just do what I want to the dang thing, respect the rarity of the '70 2wd Blaze and restore it, or do some sort of resto-mod. SEND YOUR OPINIONS PLEASE!!! Maybe with some help I can get off the fence.
