motor mount ???

i need to see a pic ( in the truck if possible) of motor mounts (small block) 70 3/4 ton 4x4
the resion i ask is i got a box of parts when i traded for the 3/4 ton 4x4 and its got mounts in there that i have no clue on
i thought the motor mounts bolted to the cross member , but the ones in the box of parts got sumkinda stand to them
thanks , tnblazerk5

Re: motor mount ???

If the crossmember has two brackets for the engine mounts then you probly have the 73+ style, the 72- style is a big U and the engine mounts bolt directly onto the U shaped crossmember, basically all one piece were the 73+ style is a 3 piece setup..
Hope this helps..

Here is the factory setup that I'm using in my 69 K20 - ignore the bbc and the washers that you see circled in red - they were used to raise the motor slightly for oil pan clearance.
