Protrash Dash........in progress.......

1 Attachment(s)
Thought I'd show my latest contraption..........a glovebox door gauge panel which will eventually replace my original cluster. It still needs some finishing and isnt ready to go but its close and not hard to imagine behind the steering wheel.

Autometer gauges could make a killing if they came out w/ holesaws the same size as their guages..........my ears are still ringing from the grinder!!

As usual, I burned up one rust free AZ glovebox door to get this one correct; so run out and shoot some primer on yours; its worth a little more today!

Thanks.........a little bit of "psycho-nascar"...........I was also influenced by a Belair built by Rad Rides that I saw at World of wheels a few years ago. It had the coolest dash, suede interior, and a twin-turbo smallblock.

If four of the small gauges are the usual oil, water, volts and fuel, what is the fifth?

I was digging into your past. New job is cutting into your hobbie time? I was really looking to see how you had your rear bags mounted.:mm: 2008? and still not done.

........Definitely cut down on time and I jumped back and forth between the truck and the 'burb. All summer I worked my butt off and it was just too hot; now I'm on 4/10's and its nicer so we'll see what happens from here.

I'm thinking of abandoning this dash idea anyway.......sick of working on 'em and not driving them enough.:waah:
