New Motor

Got my new BBC in Its way torqier than my 383 stroker was.

Its a 454 with large oval port heads. std bore, forged crank rods and pistons. 590 lift cam. air gap intake. 780 holley, roller rockers...etc...

Heres some pics. None with the carb on but i will take more. I just got it running today so ill let you all know how the tuning goes.

Thanks for letting me "brag".....

Looks great so far. I had a mild 454 in mine at one time and it was a torque monster for sure, and getting it to hook in a pickup with stock rear suspension was a chore in itself.

I dont know number yet. I havnt had time to put it on a dyno. I have had he motor in for 3 weeks and today was the first time i actually took it out for a spin.... It was very fun.

I have the same exshaust sytem on the bb as the sb and it just sounds different and I truely enjoy it.
