you can buy them ready to go from DIY4x4 you should sheck out his web site cool pics of the kit. . if your goning to make them your self I would use 52 in springs in stead of the stock 49. The 52 will ride alot better. Here is the only pic I have sorry its not from the side. you can see the front spring hangers are part of the core suport.

Hey Hugger67, I finally got a couple shots last night of what you were asking for on my post but now I see you have got plenty of help from some guys who know what they are doing. I have included a couple shots below and agree with Oldcreek as the stock spring locations are mounted at about 44". Hope these side shots help you out somewhat:

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back with you. Got sick and wasn't up to going to the shop.

I drove my 70 K5 today and got the following pictures for you. As you can see, the front spring mount is centered under the core support.

http://yukon.b0xen.us/70blazer/springhanger1.jpg

Here's a pic from below just for a different view

http://yukon.b0xen.us/70blazer/springhanger2.jpg

And then a little closer view from the side

http://yukon.b0xen.us/70blazer/springhanger3.jpg

Here is the rear shackle hanger

http://yukon.b0xen.us/70blazer/springhanger4.jpg

The springs on my 70 K5 are 4" lift springs and straight across from center of spring eye to center of spring eye they measure 43 3/4".

From center of front spring eye to the shackle bolt that goes through the frame is 43".

Let me know if you need any further info.
