I have an Edelbrock auto choke. There is no adjustment to make it act quicker. But you can adjust how much it closes by loosening the three screws and rotating the assembly. With the engine off and cold, remove your air cleaner and watch the choke flapper as you rotate.

If it doesn't seem to be acting quickly enough, check your electrical connections, you may not be getting the full 12 volts.

Sounds like you're asking about how long the fast idle stays activated. Mine (Holley) idles fast for about 15-30 seconds depending on the weather, although I have had my fast idle cam stick before and have had to manually pop it to drop idle.

I'd rummage around the tech sections of either the Edelbrock or Holley websites (depending what you have, obviously) if you need to adjust it; I found some good info there when I had issues with mine fast idling too long.
