205 with/ HD rear output/brass bushed, HD 32 spline front output. TH400 with foward pattern full manual valve body. All gone through June 2007

I have a stock set up, still all bolted together.
Came from a running/driving truck.

Heading to NJ tomorrow but the tranny/t-case is buried under 4ft of snow/ice.

I still have a couple 205s but no more K case trannys, these 205s bolt right up to 2 wheel drive 400s anyway and you can pick them up cheap. 500.00 but no shipping

Yes, some 205s were used behind 2 wheel drive 400s, I have found them in early to mid 80s 1 ton trucks.
I just bought a TH-475 last week that had the bolt on yoke, removed the yoke, tailshaft housing and my transfer case bolted right up to it.

I will have one out of a m1008 chevy that I am buying for the axles. It will have a 208 behind it though. I am thinking $350 for both and should have them by the end of next week.

whats the difference between a 208 and a 205? anyone got a pic of a np205 for a
th400? i was told the input was different from a th350 np205 and i want to see it.

205 Input from a th350 is a 27 spline unit, th400 unit is 32 spline , and a 205 from a 4 speed is a 10 spline unit. 205 from any model can be built with different input shafts to fit any combo.

You can find a used case and get the shafts from one. If you ain't rock crawling you don't need a 205 but they are nice to have. What size tires are you going to run?

33's it is for my k20 all i do with it is pull my tractor around so i want it HEAVY DUTY

A 208 will be fine for what you are wanting to do then.

Advance adapters sells the different shafts if you cant find a used one.
