which seats for my '86 c10
 

Im fixing to get some new seats for my 86 c10 and i think i have it narrowed down to these 2 so i want some input on them and if anyone has pics of either of these installed please let me see them. Either seat i go with will be in black.

ive seen a member with name 496stroker1 truck, the the seat on the left looks like the one he has. very nice seat, im more partial to the one on the right but thats most likely because i like grey. decisions decisions lol

i like the design of the grey ones better. The backrest on the black ones look a little "ricer" to me

I hate the way that the type of seats on the left sort of squeeze your body and don't let you move, i just personally don't think they're comfortable. But if you don't mind that, I think they have a more interesting look to them

i had the grey seats in beige and took em out of a crew cab truck... they sat higher which was fine as im tall enough, but you had to watch getting out of the truck so you didnt nail your head on the roof line

If you get them, keep us posted on the install. I am thinking of seats like that for my 78 K10 but have always been nervious of the cheasy conversion van feeling you get with some aftermarket seats.

the black ones i found on amazon for $850 and were made by apc but have been discontinued as they went out of business and the gray ones i found on another site for $735 and they are the same seats that was used on "trucks" for project copperhead and i'm sure some of u guys know that truck.

did you see the thread this week on the low back buckets, I think boat puller has them also, I thought they looked very nice when redone. and you would probably have less or t he same money in them. for some reason I don't like looking in these trucks and seeing head rests above the back window line. just my opinion. that said I like the gray ones best of the two. good luck

I 'd stick with the gray one. The black looks more of ricer look.

omg, - I would take something like the grey ones, - the black ones belong in a sports car with special seat belts a.s.o. not in a classic truck.......
