Nice lookin project in Alberta
http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAdLa...?set_id=1C4000
I just thought this wasnt too shabby looking of a project for 500 bucks, figured I'd toss it up here for anyone close that might be interested. THIS TRUCK IS NOT MINE AND IM NOT TRYING TO ADVERTISE IT |
Re: Nice lookin project in Alberta
If I lived in Canadia, I would probably not buy that unless I had the cash just laying around and/or I had the space in my back yard to store it/work on it. Come to think of it, nevermind. I probably wouldn't ever buy that, even if it was free and right around the corner from me.
You see, I have those pesky/nosey type neighbors. You know, the kind that try to descreetly peek through their blinds even though they are being totally conspicuous? You know, the kind that call the cops when you sneeze too loud or too often? You know, the kind that leave notes on your door, complaining about how the day prior you had just mowed your lawn but didn't clean up the edges? I swear, no matter how much junk mail I sign 'em up for, they never seem to get the idea. |

Re: Nice lookin project in Alberta
Going to look at her tonight. Out of curiosity the straight 6's in these trucks were the same bell housing pattern as a sbc right? If i buy it its going to become a quick 'n' dirty driver. Brakes, shocks, floor and engine (seeing as he thinks its seized).

Re: Nice lookin project in Alberta
I knew someone would appreciate it at that price, good luck.

Re: Nice lookin project in Alberta
decided not to go look at it, because after talking to the guy no matter how good of a deal it is it is more work, than i have space or money for right now. After talking to the guy if it's anything like he says it is it's a great deal for someone who wants a solid project. sounds like you *might* be able to get it turning over with either just hitting the starter with a hammer, or a new starter.

Re: Nice lookin project in Alberta
Howdy to you in Vermilion! Haven't been out your way in a while.
Oh and Mister laugh, about the straight 6, the 62 and up (230/250/292) use the same bellhousing as a SBC, but the earlier 235/261 use a different bell. So, if this truck still has its original engine, it would be a 235, or maybe a 261 in Canada. |
Re: Nice lookin project in Alberta
I could use tons of parts from that one, wish I had the spare cash and transport for it
No worries still a good few around here for the taking Thanks for posting it Jordan Trent |
