Brand of tires
Currently my truck is sitting on 255/60/15's on all fours. I want to go back to the 275/60/15's in the rear. Just gives it a little better stance.
I use to be able to get the Duralon Radial SR tires from our local Mills Fleet Farm. Now they only carry Cooper and Roadrunner tires and can't get the 275's I want. The duralons were decent and didn't break the bank. Which would allow me to put on a new set every year or couple of months depending on how much peddle I use. Now the only tire I can find in that size are firestone and BF's. The BF's are a great tire, but they are $115 each. So it's either less tire smoking with the BF's or keep looking for another brand. Any other tire company's that make 275's?? |

Re: Brand of tires
Shipped, mounted and balanced and we're back to $115 again. What ever happen to a good set of rubber to burn up?

Re: Brand of tires
I bought my BFG Radial T/A 275/60/15s from DicountTireDirect while they had a special going and got them shipped to my door for less than $300, then I went to a local used tire shop and got them mounted, balanced and put on the truck for $30. They still have a good price ($98 to your door) but if you have time just wait and check every week or so for a special. Cheapest I found them locally was $120.

Re: Brand of tires
That might be a good option...I did a search online and found them for $69. Which is more the price range I was looknig at. I'll have to venture out locally to see if I can get them.
THANKS!! |
