5" rear drop ????

I plan on dropping my '76 5 inches in the rear. I dont plan on using a flip kit, but instead a drop spring and possibly a shackle/hanger kit. I have found drop springs that will give a drop of 1-5". Would it be better to use a 5" drop spring or a 3" drop spring along with the 2" shackle/hanger kit?

why don't you do a flip kit instead it's cheaper then springs.

the shackle hanger is 4 inches you'd have to do one or the other only.

or do the shackle hanger combo and 1 inch springs, but the shackle hanger setup is more then a flip kit also.

Plus getting those bolts out of the leaf spring bushings. No thanks

also, with a lot of drop leaf springs you will lose all towing capacity because as soon as you hitch something up you'll be riding on the bump stops. An axle flip kit would be perfect, it would achive everything the most efficent.

SBTork will you lose all of your towing capabilities with a 5 inch flip kit with NO c-notch or can you still tow with it?
