67-68 VIN Tags. Where to place them?
 
PO of my truck took the tags off the cab and now I need to know where to put them back? Can anybody provide a pic? I know on 69-72 they were on the Driver side at the back of the door.

My 67 has the tag a few inches below the striker on drivers side of cab. Sorry no pic. If no holes are there reach around and feel back side for clues to where they might have been filled.

Yep, inside the drivers door just below the striker.

Thanks guys, only problem is......I don't think its a 68 cab. Thats why I wanted to see a pic of where the tags go. Is taking the tags off even legal? I don't think so.

Each state is different but in a lot of states it is considered tapering.
