Small block in '53
 

I found a '62 283 4bbl to put in my '53 five window. I also have an SM465
4 speed to use behind it. Tips, advice and sources please. The torque tube is gone and a Camaro 10 bolt is in place. Will the center dump ram horns
clear the steering box.

I think you will have better luck with 70's Camaro exhaust manifolds, maybe a little clearence on the transmission x-member depending on your choice of muffler shops. A new Driveshaft will mate from your gear box to that rear end you have. If it were me I think I would look for a 3 speed unless you are pulling stumps!!
