Column Wiring Adapter?
Anyone ever found a steering column wiring/plug adapter to wire an 83 tilt column into a '66 truck?
I checked Ididit and Centech, no luck so far. I have both trucks' wiring diagrams - would it be easier to just connect one wire at a time? Suggestions appreciated. |

Re: Column Wiring Adapter?
Thanks, guys - I have that other plug end; I'll get out the wire crimpers and heat shrink!

Re: Column Wiring Adapter?
If you have the right plug you shouldn't need to cut wires as long as the terminals are the same. With a small, thin flat screwdriver you can go down into the plug from the terminal end and release the tab on the terminal. That releases the terminal so you can pull it out and put it in the other plug.
