It took some searchin' to pick those covers... I have a black set on the 350 in my Jimmy. The Wires came assembled. They are MSD-31809, the dist is MSD-85551. I also have the MSD Blaster HVC and Digital 6 Ignition Box.

You can follow the conversion from the '87 350 TBI to the carbed 454 at:

350 GM Goodwrench create moter. I love it. The truck is my daily driver and the best part of the create is 3 year, 100,000 mile warenty. That was worth it. when I Graduate from High School the truck is mine and I will get out new alm intake, headers, rear end, and a drop will be going in.

Hey, I thought we were looking for BIG BLOCK engine pics felles? :)

Little mice need not apply. :D

I have some newer pics at home, will post them tonight. 454 bored 060 to 468, fairly mild components. Should be just a tad over 500 HP and 500 TQ, engine built identical to another that dynoed those numbers.

EDIT: added a couple more pics as promised.

Sharp truck!

I'm finishing the 454 install this weekend in anticipation of a shakedown cruise to Gatlinburg on the 12th - 15th.

How the hell is the drivers side valve cover coming off if you want to adjust the rockers? Is that a new quick release vacuum booster...lol

It was... I just didn't have the heart to tell them. What truck is that in?

Bishop Trucks: Man, you really need to find a home for that... it'd look awesome in my '57 Stepside!!!

Airmale, the drivers VC comes off easily, with no need to remove anything. It is somewhat tight, but I have had it on/off several times. The angle of the VC's makes it doable...if they were the standard tall and flat versions...I think there would be issues.

Keck, I even have Harland Sharpe rockers under there.
