Hi from germany to all of you,
could you please tell me, where i can get a new or a used radiator lower support bracket, which i marked in this picture?

Itīs a 1954 Chevrolet PickUp truck (1/2 ton) and i badly need this part. I think the brackets from the trucks before 1954 also do fit.

Please help!
Thanks a lot...greetings, Robin

I may have one out of my 50 GMC Bus, I'll let you know in a week or so. You can have it for the cost of shipping if I don't use it.

Shipping to Germany? That might be expensive. What's wrong with your old one? No way to straighten it out?

Snoopy, I don't have any extras parts, but I'm glad to see another '54 being restored. Just so you know, my '54 is now sitting on an earlier chassis(47-53). The rear of the chassis/frame was different in '54 as the bed shape changed(so the rear portion of the current chassis was modified to accept the '54 bed). I think you're correct in that the 47-54/55 1st were all the same in the front. Are you trying to keep it all oringinal or could you fab up a piece to look and work like the OEM part? I've seen some handy guys do some nice fab work here. Good luck and keep us posted, Daniel U

With good help I have done a lot of frame-work until now...before restoring there was a MonteCarlo subframe swaped. I have begun a total frame-off-restauration and we built a new front frame section with the dimensions of the Original Chevy frame. Now iīm trying to find this front crossmember, but i think i do it like shown on the picture over this thread. See pictures below of our framework...at the moment the frame is at a powdercoating company
