Brake light is off a '80's Buick skylark deck spoiler. Went thru dome light hole and expoxyed a threaded bar to bolt the light to. Ground one side and run other wire to out side of BRAKELIGHT switch.
Tailgate brackets are hi-tech (ahem).

I love the tailgate and the red GMC logo's....

I was trying ot figure out how to do mine. I am thinking about coloring the GMC logo in the original blue color, and the rest black......but I have to say, I may change my mind after seeing your truck....

That is SWEET!!!!!:me:

Rustoleam Satin from Home Depot thinned with Acetone (temporary paint until a frame off and finish lowering-by my son (orangeuavol)). Will make a good guide coat when final blocking starts. He going to build a bigger garage first.

Thanks for the pics, I have been researching bio-diesel for some time, with the prices of fuel now I have been strongly considering getting a diesel vehicle and doing the bio thing. are you able to get free oil easily?

Yes because they have to pay to have it pickup.
