83 custom deluxe long bed lowering kit
 

My buddy in Iraq just got a 83 custom delux long bed and he is wanting to lower it. He found the kit he wants but isn't to sure about it. i told him i'd try and find out for him. so here i am...

This is what he e-mailed me about it -

"i found a 5"/5" drop kit for my truck. made by djm. it comes with drop springs and lower control arm for the front, and a 5" flip flop kit for the rear. there's 2 different kits for my truck. one is for a 1" rotor, and the other is for a 1.25" rotor..... not sure what it has"

He got the truck off craigslist for $800 in perfect running and body condition. He gets back next month and wants to have the parts waiting on him.

That has to do with how thick the rotors are. The 1.25 is the heavy duty brakes. You can either measure to see how thick the rotors are or there is a rpo on the glovebox door, I just don't recall what it is off the top of my head.
