Oh yeah, these are the www.midnightmoose.com Xenon conversion kits. Man everyone notices them and I absolutely love them!!
Easily 100% Brighter than stock or even the cool blue sylvania's I had previously.
And the pics suck!!! hahah

Nice!! How was the install on the lights? easy? I've heard of some people that have had problems with their wiring not being adequate for the new lights. Did you run into that problem?

87gmc 11-02-2002 09:57 PM

looks good, but i was wondering the same thing as chevychic, i have a friend that did that but he redid all his wiring or did something to the wiring. So i was wondering if it would work without totally redoing it.

Man I need new valve covers to dress mine up more. Looks good Dave :)

wheres the K&N eXtreme lid?

messed up c-10 11-03-2002 02:36 AM

all that pretty chrome dont pay off when you got to drive down a dirt road everyday.:( or Pretty paint or having in lowered for that matter either(esepecially in the rain). Dang living in the country sure has its drawbacks but atleast it aint crowded out here and we have less laws over our heads.

LOHRTBT 11-03-2002 04:22 PM

Hey. :) Thanks guys and gal. ;)

The install is just like a regular light. Its so simple its painfull! haha
I did nothing in addition.

THe K&N is rediculously priced, so shop around, it retails for like $118. I got a good hook up and it was $56. I personally dont like the Extreme Lids. Think they are kinda ugly.

ON the lights....I have had Zero voltage probs...if you read the FAQ on midnight moose, they will tell you about that. So unless you have a wiring problem.....it should be ok. its really a minimal increase in power but huge in lighting.

How did you do the chevy symbol with your side marker light?

http://www.midnightmoose.com/hhousings.htm and is this link the one to the stuff you need to convert your lights to blue lights? Its hard to tell from the pic, but are the lights blue?

LOHRTBT 11-04-2002 01:30 PM

The lights are painted like that...

The headlights are mostly white light but have a blue tint to them. :) Very nice looking at night.

PHOENIX 11-04-2002 01:36 PM

Can you post a picture of those headlights with the lights off in the daylight?

LOHRTBT 11-04-2002 01:45 PM

Will do....they look pretty much the same only clearer. :) And you can see the blue bulb in there. :D
