You gotta do what you gotta do

I’ve been putting this off for a few months now, but there is no way around it any more. A combination of budget cuts in education (can’t go back to being a teacher), of me going back to school, housing issues my family is going through, and rising prices in general…

I have to put my ride up for sale. I have posted it for sale in the classified section. (I don’t think this constitutes cross posting right?) I am only listing it here and maybe CL for now. At this point the crisis is not bad enough were I have to be actively selling it, but things are bad enough were I can’t justify keeping such an expensive toy. Oh well, just got to suck it up I guess.
:(

Man, I wish I had the cash. That is one of the nicest 2wds I can think of. If you listen closely, you can probably hear the many gears spinning in my head right now.

Well Bouncy I can't say I would be happy about it, but if you bought her it would be of some comfort to know she would be in good hands.

Yeah I know the feeling. I have a company car, my K5 and a 2006 Dodge that I am making payments on. I love the Dodge Cummins as a weekend vehicle especially because my K5 is always torn apart. But it is getting real hard to justify the cost when I have the company car that I can drive whenever. I might have to let something go as well if I don't get a raise or win the lottery. You have a BEAUTIFUL Blazer. If I had a 2wd I would basically copy yours. If you do end up selling, I hope it goes to a loving home. :(

Just got back from the 'Trucks for Sale' section and figured I would follow up here to see if you posted about it - sure enough...

To put it bluntly - that sucks. Your Blazer has given me some great ideas for my other trucks and it will be sad to see it go - hopefully the next buyer will take great care of it (and join the board so we can still drool over it) - ;)

Too rich for me - but it appears to be in the right price range for the quality of your truck.

Best of luck to you and in your sale.

I know how you feel. I just sold my truck a month ago, and the Harley yesterday.

That sucks, I hope you end up being able to keep it but good luck with the sale anyways.

Thanks everybody for the positive words. I'm sure I'm not the only one dealing with this stuff.
