did 70 blazers come in bright yellow?
 

Found this ad for what appears to be a nice looking Blazer, but it claims to be original paint and it's bright yellow. I didn't think they had a bright yellow.

I wouldn't count on the colors in the brochure being production unless they say those are the production colors. Looking at the shapes of the tops on those trucks, it's clear those are prototype trucks and not production models. That being said, the yellow looks the same as the one in the listing. I've seen the pale yellow (owned one in that color) and I've seen repaints in bright yellows, but I don't know if I've seen one original.

That top in the last pic is ugly, glad they changed it. It looks like the bronco tops.

Wow! It looks like they even had Photoshop back in the late 60s. :lol: The little pic of the orange K5 with the top is the same pic as the yellow one. The trees and everything are identical. I guess back then an artist just changed the color on paper. Either way, those squared off tops are freakin ugly!

Having dealt alot with camaros I would say anything is strongly possible. I remember a 69 SS that people questioned. It was a pale blue. Which was not listed on the camaro chart. Turns out the guy who ordered it his daughter was going to UCLA so he got it painted that color. Had the paperwork to document it

I thought the yellow one I once had was repainted but seeing this, maybe not.

The color looks like it's in the charts. I always assumed the bright yellows were repaints too.

Not sure if it's the same as the other one, but this is supposed to be 70 Chevy/GMC truck colors for 70.

My dad's 72 Blazer was originally yellow. Here is a pic where it has not been repainted.

Hi guys, I know that this was started for Blazers, but here is the spid sheet with a code number and a pic of my Jimmy. It looks like the same yellow as the Blazers VTBlazer posted. The #520 is in the chip shown above and on my sheet.

His ad may be a little decieving as he stated "original color paint", not "original paint" which sounds like a repaint to me. Looks like a pretty nice ol' truck tho.

Looking at the pic's you linked to the interior and exterior color are not even close to each other! But I have seen stranger things:lol:
