Wiring kits

Well, I totally gutted my truck, and am going to be getting a new wiring kit for my ride. I'm not going to be getting a direct fit kit from Painless wiring, simply because it would be rather useless because my truck has about nothing stock on it at all.

What I can't seem to decide here, is how many circuit kit I should get. I'm thinking I should get a 18 circuit. I will be fusing all my air ride parts with the main fuseblock, as well as door poppers, aftermarket gauges, and lights.

any ideas?

I'd say go with the bigger 18 circuit over the 12 circuit kit. Better to have extra capacity than not enough, especially with you bags. I'd list all the current draws on your 'stock' circuits that you're keeping and then account for your add-ons to see if the 18-circuit kit will work, kinda like you're doing. You may still have to customize the kit a bit to accommodate higher current draw circuits like the electric? compressor by stepping up one of the circuits in the kit. My OEM fuse box has a couple of ACC circuits that are unused. But, with all the mods, a bigger fuse box (or an additional box) may be needed.

Yeah, I had two fuse boxes before, and I really want to shy away from that. I might go with a "sub panel" so I can fuse all the valves and the pressure switch individually.
