cab weight
for shipping purposes, what does the following weigh (ballpark)
bare cab cab with doors, column, etc. no seat |
Re: cab weight
I checked the parts manual and the cab assembly does not have the weight listed, Sorry!
I'm sure someone that had handled one will be able to at least estimate the weight. Good Luck! |
Re: cab weight
I"m guessing around 350-450. Me and my buddy were able to lift mine off with np, still had doors and steering.
You could always set a touque wrech to about 100 and get on bolt on the front corner, turn it up or down and what ever it takes to click the wrench and lift that corner just x4 it. Kinda like weighing a tractor trailer. |
Re: cab weight
one completly stripped is still pretty heavy.. two people can move it but its not light.. The doors will add a ton of weight as well because I think they are pretty heavy. Lots of steel I would guess the 350-450 would be close..

Re: cab weight
I've always been told right at 500 gutted but with front and rear glass.

Re: cab weight
Do we win a prize if we are the closest?? ha..I think it will be closer to 500 than 450.
|
Re: cab weight
id say 400-500 empty and most(weight) is in the front.
|
Re: cab weight
lol... how many jelly beans in the jar. LOL.
|
Re: cab weight
no way near 500lbs gutted... I just propped mine up on the frame by myself and have lifted it with 4 guys totally off the frame, glass does weight a little though. I would guess 350-400 max gutted. With doors then 500+

Re: cab weight
450-500 pounds lifted my brothers last night in the move into his new house. that is with front and rear glass, nothing else.
