Electric fan help!!!

Im wanting to put a electic fan on my 93 chevy 4x4 with a/c. No plans for major towing, ever really, maybe some firewood once in a while and usual garbage stuff. My question is how big do i need and a push or pull?

Thanks guys.

Here's a thread from last year. I am going to try this on my '92.

The two speed Taurus fan will work well. I'm running dual fans out of an 06 Cobalt SS and they cool very well. This will definitely be a mod you'll see a difference with.

Re: Electric fan help!!!

Do you want to go to the salvage yard a scarf one, or do you want to invest in something aftermarket? I put a set of SPAL 11" fans on my 91 5.7 liter truck. They come with their own shrouds built around them and all you ahve to do is create a couple brackets to bolt them to the radiator support. I mounted them to two horizontal flat aluminum pieces the bolt to two verticle pieces that mount above and below the radiator. They cover the radiator quite well and the poser is directly from the battery through a fan controller, that is tied to the facotry temp sensor in the intake manifold. They sell through Summit Racing under the "Be Cool fan sets" and are not priced bad. I run one fan for normal driving and the second will cycle on if the tempereature load continues to raise above normal driving temps.
