Rear brake drum prob
 

So I was putting lowering blocks in and one of the brake drums "fell off". Now I can't get it back on. I closed the adjuster wheel as much as possible...still no luck. What's the answer?

Did you check to make sure all of your springs are still in the right place? If one broke or came off it could push the shoes out. Also make sure the wheel cylinders are not pushed out. They can over extend and you have to take them apart and basically rebuild them. If you can push in on them they are probably ok though. Of course pushing in on the wheel cylinders might give you the room you need to put the drum back on.

You really shouldn't be able to "push them in". The springs should pull the shoes back to the pivot point, so they should already be "in" as far as they can move.

Look into the E-brake cable and the "spreader bar" that pushes the shoes apart for the reason that the drum will not go back on, but why it would "fall off" and not go back is puzzling....

What I meant was if you hit the break pedal with the drum off it can push out the pistons in the wheel cylinder too far and they can pop out of place. I was just thinking if the drum fell off because the springs broke or popped off (unlikely sure) it was possible that the wheel cylinder was able to over extend as well. I’ve never seen a drum fall off before so I figured the shoes aren’t resting against it properly for some reason.
