What are these worth?? They were nos caps that were on a truck for a short time. They are very nice, but do have some shelf wear and a few chips. Have been saving them, but dont think I will ever use them.

Are they for nubs or clips? To just the right restorer they`d be worth a good bit.

I have no idea regarding your question, but those are pretty sweet! I just posted a thread looking for something like this..I just can't use GMC on a Chevy though!

I want a set of bright caps just like that.I kinda hate to do it,but I wonder what chroming would cost?I`d make an offer if I knew.See what others say....$100?I`d give that for them.

I don`t think I`d mess those up.But,would be interested if a price can be agreed on.I`ll keep looking for the "fancy" dog dishes.
I look at a part like these as being,in some ways, more valueable than the fancier stuff. Most standard equipment was taken for granted and worked hard. There`s no aftermarket (repro),they really are a rarity.Like painted bumper guards,an upgrade that isn`t "blingy"...imagine that.On the other side, they`d only have a value to a true restorer with a truck that calls for these...not too many. It`s like all these 250/3spd combos getting yanked and tossed for 350/auto set-ups.The guy that hangs on to this stuff will have something one day.Now,actually.There have always been those who care for originality. And a penny saving 6 banger is saving dollars these days.I had a`55 wagon with a custom steering wheel and MonteCarlo console/seats.It took alot of searching and many bucks to get the shift on the column and a factory seat. That was 25 years ago.
Anyway, history lesson over. LMK what you come up with.

$150? Not often you come across those. You'd likely fetch $150-$200 for those on evil-bay I'm thinking...

I would say $100 would be a fair price....JMO

i would say for a full set in mint someone would pay 300.... just because they are so rare in that condition. i would really hold out for 250 at least. they are worth every penny. seems a high price but for the rarity it is worth it.

I think everyone is in the ball park as far as what they would fetch on E-bay is anyones guess depending on how much you hype you make them as being rare.
