Help support the Board (Updated with Mailing Address)
 

Hey Guys, I'm sorry to say that the Money collected last time around has been depleted (between hassling with the bank and upgrades it ran out a few months ealier than I expected). I am going to have to ask for donations again, I hate to do it, but right now I cant support the board myself, and the ads are making almost nothing. I will most likely remove the ads in november when my contract with the ad provider runs out. If I do remove the ads, I will be upfront in telling you guys I am going to take some of this money for my own personal use, most likely for my truck. Anyway, the donation info is as follows:

Please include your board name. If you would like a "Contributor" line added under your Post Counter, please say if you do or don't. Also don't be alarmed if the paypal confirm email has the name of Donald Brady, it's a shared account I have.

I set up a hack that puts a simple "contributor" under your Post counter, if you previously donated please PM me if you would like for the Contributor status to be added.

When I have the capabilities for money orders, I will make a post with all the details. I hope to have it all setup before the end of the month.

How Much you need? I am not Bill Gates, nor is anyone else on this board, but if everyone who posts more than once a week gave a Lincoln, would that help?

I contirbuted $25.00 the last time around. You said then you would add the "contributor" status. I emailed you three times but it never happened.

Is this because nobody is going to these ads? What is the ratio of clicks on ads vs dollars for board? Maybe alot of users just aren't aware that the ads actually bring income to help support this site:confused:

That's a good idea SWINGSAX68. If someone buys my bed listed in the for sale section,I'll give that money to the board. I'll go change it to best offer. Whatever it brings is what the board gets.

I wont be here much anymore but i have some goodies i can sell here and donate the proceeds.maybe a little auction on rare parts,and all the money be sent to Josh???Anyone up to bid on a cruise,am/fm,tilt,buckets,a motor? be a good chunk of change for the board.ive enjoyed about 3 years here,and hopefully other will,if you need more clicks on banners lets all click the sh!t out of them!!

Done...very worthy cause. If we all sent in 1/2 of what we have saved in the cost of parts and other help from what we have received from this board it would go a long way :)

How many members actually donated the last time?

Count me in. I'm ready to mail my donation as soon as your set up for money by mail. We need to do what we can to help this board stay alive and healthy. I can't imagine not having this board to keep up with the 67-72 addiction I have got to get my fix hourly......

Mudder, I dont have an exact number, but somewhere around 150+/- donated last time.

Just wondering, what does it cost to run this board for a month / year or whatever?

I'm sure we don't want to go to a pay per use or monthly charge, I know alot of people would get discouraged by that, but it in not fair for only a couple of members to pay our way either.

Josh let me know when you can recieve money orders as well. I will have it in US dollars.
