If I only had the money....

A co-worker of mine has a 1980 model 1/2 short bed for sale for $2500. It's a 2wd with a OWW rear axle. 350/TH350 w lockup torque convertor. Haven't seen it yet so I don't even know it's true condition but it would be nice to have something a bit lighter and easier on gas to drive around. as well. maybe I'll go look at it this weekend and get some pics of it for y'all.

Tell the co-worker to give you the truck or you'll narc him out for stealing from the company. Make something up, do whatever you have to. You can get other friends, finding a truck in good shape can be a real challenge.:devil:

I think we have all been in the 'wish I had the money' situation at least a dozen times.;) There is a long bed version of my truck (same color, year) in my area and must have schemed for a week trying to figure a way to afford it.

On a side note ive been trying to sell my '80 around here but nobody seems to think $2800 is a good price for a rust free lowered swb truck.

That's crazy... I got offered 5 g's for my rust free lowered SWB a week ago. And I think yours is in better condition than mine!
