I was wondering if anybody had any close up pics of a truck with shaved drip rails?

I have shaved one before, but ended up replacing the cab because the whole side of it was messed up. The hardest part was the corners by the pillars. I did is so that the front of the roof was flat instead of set up like that. I don't have the pics though. I will try to get some next time I go home(christmas). Hope this helps.

hey low68,
do you have anymore pics of the bench in the yellow truck? Any idea what year and truck it came out of? jay |
While I've never really liked the way the shaved rail makes the truck look, the way they did the leading edge on the yellow truck actually looks pretty good.

I like the way the yellow truck is shaved also, very tastefully done!

the way i look at it is, you do what you want it to look like. there or lots of ways to do it. some harder than others. the only thing i will recommend you do, is cut a little bit off, then put a bunch of tacks on. you don't want your cab coming apart.

thats the best advice i've read today lotik. i'd like to duplicate that job done on the yellow one too. i'll get my chance at it this winter.
