swapping 67 body onto 72 4x4 problems ?

I am getting ready to put my 67 body onto my 72 4 x 4 frame.Other than having to cut out the low hump in the cab and replace it with a high hump will I have to do any other major modifications ? Thanks

no other problems as long as you use 4x4 body mount cushions

good luck

Well, the 67 has throttle linkage and the 72 has cable...... The other problem you run into is the e-brake. The 72 has a e-brake pedal and the 67 has a handle so the cables are different. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Thanks guys.I am using everything from the 72 4x4 I have completely rebuilt the 383 motor and front end. I basically scapped the original body, had not really planned on using my 67 body since the truck was so nice but I can't afford to buy another complete truck and repair it to put on the 72.So I may have a complete 67 truck for sale without the body very soon.It has 283 with powerglide 93,000 original miles.runs and drives great!
