Removing engine

I have a few questions i have a 350 TBI that i am swapping out for a 427 and i was wondering i have a friend that is going to buy it but the TBI is computer controlled do you know if i can jack the computer and hook it up in his car. I dont see why not unless its integrated into all the wiring, but i dont think it is, the only probelm i know is that the computer is hooked to the check engine light to give it codes, will i have trouble or not? Please help

He can either take the computer, all sensors and wiring, and swap the TBI system over to his vehicle, or else he can remove that TBI manifold, put on a carb'ed intake, and run a carb. Id go the second option for ease.

The only problem I see is setting up the fuel delivery. Your friend will need to install an electric pump along with all the wiring and sensors. For an easier convsersion, I would buy an aftermarket wiring harness. There are plenty of swap manuals to buy too.
