Offset Hardware - center pin
Ever had holes that are just a little bit off? Ya gotta try these new Offset bolts and studs. Just put em in the offset hole and cut of the extra!! Voila!!
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3022/...e3966b.jpg?v=0 Just joking... So, I've been "DOG TRACKING" in the 73 K5. Got some advice on this great forum and got new leaf centering pins and some custom U-bolts. What you see above is what came out of the 35 year old spring pack. Only shifted the bottom 2 leafs about 2 inches. That's what sheared the locating pin off. The repair, as expected, made a HUGE difference in driveability. DUH! But, as a bonus, my steering wheel is almost squared up!! Whoo-Hoo!! Next, on to some bodywork! - Dave |
