Rust free A/C cab from an 86 High Sierra. I gave 200 bucks for it and I'm going to use it on my 86 C10 Project.

pretty solid lookin cab, did you build the cradle or did it come that way? If you built it...why?

i adjusted my headlights, because they have been off for a long time

ElGracho 11-11-2002 10:46 PM

I built the cradle. I didn't want to let it sit on the rockers for the ride home. I've seen some rolled over pinch welds from that in the past. I also expect this thing to be in my shop for a while and I'll put the cradle on one of my moving dollys so I can roll it around.

The cab would be a lot closer to level if I had made the front support about 4 inches wider (what was supposed to be the front is in the back the way it sits right now).

tommorow i'm gonna take off all my wheels one at a time, and clean off all the built up brake dust on the inside, my wheels dont have any slots or holes, so there is no place for the brake dust to go to:(

Jeff,

the question was, what did you do today? I think Eric was answering the question. :)

Me, I finished my console. :) Got all the vents and stuff done. Removed it all from the truck and taking it to get it upholstered tomorrow.

Can't wait until it's done.

Eric,

the plans are in the works. I got all the dimensions and measurements today. I made some actual size drawings and will make some detailed drawings and get them up on my site. Give me a couple days to get it all done.

Mike

Oops, sorry Joe. Didn't mean to barge in on your joy. :)

Real nice find on the cab.

Mike
