b&m transpak?
when i got my tranny rebuilt earlier this year, they put a shiftkit in, or so my dad said they did. it shifts firm, but..... i want it to shift firmer:cool: how hard is the full competiton transpak. i find it really fun for it to shift hard, i likes a lot.
i gots a th-350c tranny |
I dont' know.
I would really like to get one myself. But I may just blow up my transmission. ;) My friends '73 Firebird had a Chevy 350 and trans. in it. He used the transpak, but put in the Street/Strip kit. He didn't use the Full Competition. It shifted pretty good, but I need something that'll snap my neck for me to like it. :D |

back in march, coming home from the meet at daves house, i was getting on the highway and floored it, as soon as it shifted into 2nd, my dads head flew back and hit the back window:p it was so freakin funny. but that was after maybe a month after the rebuild, and even then it wasnt hard enough for me |
and the transpak is only about $50 bucks, so its not that much, i think i may get one depending on what you all say, along with a tranny cooler

I don't know Eric. The only reason I may do it is because I could care less about this tranny.
I just started working again, and only have my truck insurance to pay for so if something breaks then I could afford it. And I do believe my trans. is useless otherwise. Shifts like a sack of sh*t when its hot. I may just buy a cooler and a transpak to help it, or have some fun. I think if I had your truck, i'd go for it. Maybe someone can tell you if its a good idea or not and why. |
