1999 Tahoe drop

I have a 2dr 2wd 1999 tahoe. In the process of a 2fr/ 3 1/2r drop. Using drop spindles and have to go to at least a 17' wheel. Has anyone done this? Any info or suggestions wouls really be appreciated.

You can still run 15" wheels with this drop if you need to. You will just need to notch the bottom of the lower control arms for clearance when you turn. I had a 4/6 on mine and ran 454ss wheels for years.

It all depends on the spindles you are useing some are made for a stock rim and some are not. If you have stock rims make sure you order the right spindle.

Don't know how long this thread has been on here but I can tell you that I droped my '99 Tahoe 4" in the front and 6" in the back and running Coddington 20" wheels all around. I used a Bell Tech drop kit for a pick up and it works good. The ride is a little firmer but not be much. It sits good and rides good. Get lots of compliments on it.

If you need pictures, let me know.

Having difficulty loading pictures. This site isn't too friendly (to me) about uploading pictures. Respond with your email and I will get back to you. Thanks, sorry about that. Dave
