Trying to ID a 3/4 ton front axle
Hey everyone, got this axle today, not sure what it is, It doesnt look quite like a Dana 44, the tubes are bigger, but it doesnt quite look like a dana 60. Anyone know what it is, it is out of a 77 Chevy 3/4 ton, the rear end is a 14B FF, and the T-case is a 203 mated to a TH350 4bbl original.

I am just figuring out, thats a total let down. Oh well, it will fetch a few bucks at the scrapper.

The 10 bolt is not a bad axle if you are just going for the 8 lug set up to run big tires on a street queen . I think O.R.D has a 10 bolt in one of there wheeling trucks .

The spindles, hubs, rotors and brake backing plates will swap off that 10 bolt onto your Dana 44 to get 8 lug on your truck. No reason to swap the whole axle, and the calipers are the same so you don't even need to disconnect the brake hoses.
