Fuel level sender ? Need opinions
I have a 99 1500 pickup with 160,000. I am going to have to replace the fuel level sender. Should I go ahead a replace the $265 fuel pump while I'm there or do these pumps last longer than the 98 and back, in tank pumps. I've changed a bunch of pumps on the older body style. Any help apprecaited and thanks in advance. Danny
PS- I'm an old 67-72 guy. I don't come over to this forum much. :hiya: |

Re: Fuel level sender ? Need opinions
I have a 00 chevy K2500 that I had to replace the fuel level sensor and I did not replace the fuel pump. Mine has almost 200K KM's now and still not a peep out of the fuel pump

Re: Fuel level sender ? Need opinions
Thanks, iceracer for the reply. I think I'll just do the fuel level sensor and hope the pump holds up. Neat user name, so what's the ice racing about?! :) Danny
