HMMM, maybe you guys can help. Cab supports?

What would I use to hold up the cab when changing the rubber supports?

My old ones squeak like mad, and are all cracked up and about ready to fall apart.

I know alot of you guys have done restos or done this type of thing.

Can I just use my floor jack to support the cab? Whats all involved. Removing and installing the new supports should be a piece of cake. I'm just worried about how to hold the cab up.

since your truck will be all together, this first idea may not work, but check out how i REMOVED my cab:

i'd say for your purposes, use a floor jack after you have the bolts loose. just make sure you use a plank or block so that you have a bigger area to push up against the cab. the bare cab itself is probably about 400 pounds... probably 1000 w/ the doors and stuff... but you're fenders are bolted as well... but a floor jack should work fine, i'd think.... ask someone who did a lift kit!... they'd know....
